Hi, My name is Jithin George, to give a brief intro on me, I was born and brought up in Dubai, UAE. I completed my schooling in the Dubai itself and came to Delhi for my graduation and Post graduation. I completed my graduation from Delhi University and as soon as i completed my exams for the final year i started looking for a college to do my Masters.

My prime focus was to get a degree and not a diploma because if i had to move out anywhere in the world a degree is the ticket to get an interview call. My second priority was that i must be able to work as being the eldest in the house i have a lot of responsibilities in supporting my family. This search brought me to WIU where i was getting the best of both worlds. When i was 3 months into my MBA in Finance at WIU i was asked by the Recruitment cell manager to give an interview in IDBI Bank. I aced the interviews and joined the bank. Within a short period of time i was able to make it and soon i got promoted and became a confirmed regular employee at the bank. I was able to cope up with pressure of the full time job and a Full time MBA and i even completed my MBA before the regular 2 years.

The faculty is from the industry and we students were very privileged to get information from the horse's mouth. Their valuable experience has helped me graft a career path for myself.

Currently im working in Dubai with Maersk Line, it is the largest shipping company in the world and is 2 and a half times the size of its next competitor. I am working in the Finance department handling Credit Control- Working Capital Management. Our main responsibility is to ensure that we are able to maintain the cash flow in the company and the working capital turnover is very high so that debt ratios and bad debts can be kept to a minimum.

Focus and steel can drive ambitions. I thank WIU for the assisting me in the progress of my career.
