an independent for-profit global education company
headquartered in the United States, was founded
in 1998 by Apollo Group's. senior executives
in order to make Apollo's highly effective educational
programs available worldwide. Apollo International
draws on the experience of Apollo Group, which,
through its subsidiaries University of Phoenix,
Inc. (UOP), Western International University,
Inc. (WIU), the Institute for Professional Development
(IPD), and the College for Financial Planning
(CFP), is the largest provider of higher education
programs for working adults in the United States
with over 100,000 students. In partnership with
leading fund mangers, well-known international
investors and business leaders, Apollo International
is poised to serve the growing global need for
private education.
Leveraging the Apollo Group model to establish accredited higher education institutes
